At Pinnacle Optometric Eye Care, we believe a comprehensive eye exam should be more than simply checking your glasses prescription. Dr. Margarita Huezo and our team provide personalized eye care for children and adults in Southwest Bakersfield, with an emphasis on thorough examinations, patient education, and the early detection of eye disease. From routine eye exams and contact lens care to medical eye care and advanced diagnostic testing, our goal is to provide convenient, high-quality care tailored to each patient's individual needs.
Conveniently located inside Sam's Club on Gosford Road, we offer online scheduling, same-day appointments when available, and welcome walk-ins as our schedule permits. No Sam's Club membership is required for your eye exam.

Pinnacle Optometric Eye Care welcomes self-pay patients and accepts select medical insurance plans. Although we are out-of-network with most vision plans, many patients can still use their out-of-network benefits. Our team can help verify eligible benefits and assist with reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so please contact us before your visit.
Medical Plans
We participate with select Medicare PPO and Blue Shield PPO medical insurance plans. Coverage and eligibility vary, so please contact our office to verify your benefits before scheduling.
Vision Plans
We are in-network with select TRICARE plans for eligible active-duty service members. Patients with other vision plans, including VSP and EyeMed, may still be able to use their out-of-network benefits at our office. Our team can help verify available benefits and assist with reimbursement claims. Coverage varies by plan.
